Their second album, 1979’s Hydra, was a unique collection of powerful rock songs that found the band considerably expanding their sonic palette by incorporating elements from prog-rock, hard rock, funk, and R&B. Considered by many as one of the album's standout tracks, “White Sister” combines oblique instrumentation with cryptic lyrics that have been rumored to be about cocaine addiction.
