Can I modify the song key?

You can change the key of an mp3 track by up to 4 semitones, both before and after the purchase.

For regular backing tracks, click on the "Key" button next to the song in My Files
For the format Custom Backing Track click on the "change" button next to the song in My Files. From there, you will find the same arrows at the bottom right of the mixer.

You can change the pitch of each song by a semi tone by clicking on the buttons and .

You can change the key as many times as you want, from -4 to +4 semitones so that your voice matches the instrumental track perfectly. This option is available in "My files" section of your account.

You will notice that changing the pitch affects the sound quality.
The vocal parts (voices and backing vocals) and bass sound are especially affected. Therefore, it is important to pay extra attention to the available sound sample.

To limit these issues, you can try downloading a free audio editing software (we recommend Audacity) and hcnage the pitch from this one. You might get better results and quality by downloading the song in the original key and then using Audacity to modify it.

Please note: changing the pitch in the CDG Video Karaoke is only available with the KFN format in KaraFun Player.
