"Baker Street" hitmaker Gerry Rafferty penned this gold-tinted groover with fellow Scot Joe Egan and brought it off the page in 1973 via their band Stealers Wheel, who formed in Paisley, Scotland the previous year and was comprised of the aforementioned school pals.
