The treasured group – who formed in 1970 and released a number of notable singles over the years, including "Joy and Pain", "Southern Girl", "Love Is The Key", and "Can't Get Over You" – scooped the Number 1 spot on the soul singles chart at the time of its release in 1985. "Back in Stride" is powered by positive energy, buckets of soul and makes a sure-fire dancefloor filler.
