Philadelphia soul outfit Maze, also known as Frankie Beverly and Frankie Beverly & Maze, were famously discovered by Marvin Gaye in the early 1970s under their original name of Raw Soul and went on to amass a string of much-loved hits, including "While I'm Alone," "Joy and Pain," "Golden Time Of Day," "The Morning After" and 1983 favorite, "We Are One."
