Texan country-rock troupe Whiskey Myers aka Cody Cannon (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), John Jeffers (lead guitar, slide guitar, lap steel guitar, vocals), Cody Tate (lead and rhythm guitar, vocals), Jeff Hogg (drums), Tony Kent (percussion/drums), and Jamey Gleaves (bass) kicked off their career in 2008 with their debut album, Road of Life, and went on to amass five more albums, including 2022's Tornillo. The mandolin-drenched, gospel-tinged "Bury My Bones" is taken from the band's self-titled fifth album of 2019.
