"Out of Control" is a song by the Rolling Stones from their 23rd US album Bridges to Babylon. Mick Jaggar and Keith Richards usually wrote the bulk of the music and produced the albums with the help of one outside producer. With this project they decided to invite several producers including the Dust Brothers, Don Was, and Rob Fraboni. The album included rap, elements of hip hop and samples, along with their usual blues influenced rock songs. "Out of Contol" is a moody rock song that explores the passage of time with living life in a state of being out of control. The band wasn't speaking to each other at the time of the recording. Both Jagger and Richards recorded their parts separately and rarely saw each other. Luckily the band was able to repair things enough to go out on tour. The Bridges to Babylon tour grossed $245 million and helped push the album into platinum sales.
