"Gold Digging Whore" is a song by Steel Panther from their 2011 album Balls Out. The band is known for its humorous and R-rated lyrics and their exaggerated glam metal stage antics. Steel Panther started as a hair metal cover band playing clubs on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. They soon started writing their own songs. "Gold Digging Whore" is a cautionary tale about a woman who is only after your money. "There's a half a dozen girls you could be dating / But this one's gonna ruin your credit rating." Steel Panther was invited to join Def Leppard and Motley Crew on tour as their special guest in 2011. While it's sometimes hard to know where the parody ends and the reality begins, their many fans don't seem to mind.
