"Girl From Oklahoma" is a song by satirical glam metal band Steel Panther, whose profane lyrics and crude sense of humor have sparked many controversies since their debut in the late 2000s. Written by lead singer Michael Starr, guitarist Satchel, bassist Lexxi Foxx, and drummer Stix Zadinia, with additional input from singer-songwriter Dean Cameron, "Girl From Oklahoma" is the eleventh and final track on Steel Panther's first major-label studio album, Feel the Steel (2009). Modeled after the hair metal ballads of the 1980s, the track features mostly acoustic instrumentation and explicit lyrics that describe an encounter between a touring rock and roll musician and a local underaged girl. Even though it wasn't officially released as a single, "Girl From Oklahoma" this controversial track became both a fan favorite and a staple of their outlandish live performances. Feel the Steel, its parent album, debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Comedy Albums chart.
