"You Are My Heaven" is a song by American R&B artist Roberta Flack, included in her 1979 studio album Roberta Flack Featuring Donny Hathaway. Released as the first single from the album alongside "I'll Love You Forever and Ever," it was the last song Donny Hathaway ever recorded before tragically falling to his death from the balcony of his 15th-floor room in New York City's Essex House hotel. Given this situation, the album was finally released as a Roberta Flack solo album since Donny Hathaway had only recorded two songs for the project. Despite these dire circumstances, both the single and album signified a successful comeback for Roberta Flack, whose 1978 eponymous full-length was largely considered a commercial flop. Co-written with Stevie Wonder and producer Eric Mercury, "You Are My Heaven" is an open celebration of romantic relationships, seamlessly melding R&B, soul, and disco. Shortly after its release, the track entered the Top 10 on the R&B charts.
