Tippa My Tongue - Red Hot Chili Peppers - MP3 instrumental karaoke

The Red Hot Chili Peppers introduced their Rick Rubin-produced thirteenth studio album Return of the Canteen to the world with the single "Tippa My Tongue," a funk-loaded firecracker that's got their name written all over it. The track, which makes a reference to "Funky Monks" ("Funky monks are on the run / Gonna get you with the tip of my tongue") from their classic 1991 album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, also took inspiration from George Clinton of Parliament-Funkadelic fame and Jimi Hendrix. It was followed hot on the heels by Eddie Van Halen tribute "Eddie," the second track to be released from the double album Return of the Canteen, which welcomed guitarist John Frusciante back into the fold after a ten-year absence. Taking its jumping-off point from the "acid landing on my tongue" line in the song, "Tippa My Tongue" was brought to life by a trippy video directed by Malia James, with animation from Julien Calemard and Thami Nabil.
