Journey's "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" heads up the San Francisco rockers' eighth studio album, Frontiers (1983) which saw the band cast their net out to the UK and reel in a Top 10 album. The hard rock odyssey dipped its toes in blues and R&B with a freewheeling chorus that depicts a relationship on the rocks: "Someday love will find you / Break those chains that bind you, one night will remind you / How we touched and went our separate ways / If he ever hurts you, true love won't desert you / You know I still love you / Though we touched and went our separate ways." The song, which was released as a single in 1983 and hit Number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (where it spent six consecutive weeks), makes an appearance in the 2008 comedy movie Yes Man, which stars Jim Carrey. The track's notoriously bad video was given a second coming during the COVID-19 pandemic when it became a popular video to make shot-by-shot recreations of.

Any song y'all do is better than any version U hear anywhere else. Y'all do a great job. *Except*...Cravin' You by Thomas Rhett and Maren Morris. The Maren Morris part is *sorta* there. It's not missing enough to be a duet with lyrics, and it's not enough there to be done by a male singer alone. -
