Since their early beginnings in 2008, the Las Vegas-based pop-rock combo Imagine Dragons has been consistently delivering a string of releases that blended the group's arena rock tendencies with flourishes of indie pop, EDM, and beyond. Albums like Night Vision (2012), Smoke + Mirrors (2015), Evolve (2017), and Origins (2018) have all topped Billboard's US Mainstream Rock chart, yielding a cavalcade of anthemic radio hit singles along the way. Executive produced by Rick Rubin, their fifth studio album Mercury – Act 1 came out in 2021 and was followed by a second part titled Mercury – Act 2 a year later.
