Come Together - Godsmack - MP3 instrumental karaoke

There’s perhaps no band in rock music history that has been as widely covered as The Beatles. And yet even rock bands of the 21st century are continuing to mine their back catalog to create fresh new takes on their material. In 2012, American rock band Godsmack released their live album Live & Inspired, a collection of live renditions of songs from across their entire career. The album also includes a bonus disc made up of four cover songs, one of which is the group’s cover of The Beatles classic “Come Together.” Featuring a decidedly more aggressive arrangement of the original Beatles song, including heavy distorted riffs by Tony Rombola and a gruff vocal performance by singer Sully Erna, Godsmack’s take on “Come Together” brings it into the world of contemporary alternative rock. The original song was written by John Lennon. Godsmack’s cover was produced by lead singer Sully Erna. Godsmack’s recording also charted at Number 33 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart.
