"Dos Oruguitas" is a song written by American musician Lin-Manuel Miranda for the soundtrack of the 2021 Disney animated film Encanto. It has the particularity of being the first song Miranda wrote entirely in Spanish, inspired by the music of Latin songwriters Antônio Carlos Jobim and Joan Manuel Serrat. Considered one of the strongest numbers in the Encanto soundtrack, "Dos Oruguitas" ("Two Caterpillars") plays during a flashback in which Alma "Abuela" Madrigal loses her husband, with the title acting as a metaphor for their love story. An English version of the song titled "Two Oruguitas" can be heard during the closing credits. Sung by Colombian-born US singer Sebastián Yatra, it debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100 at Number 83 and peaked at Number 36, marking Yatra's first-ever appearance on the chart. "Dos Oruguitas" also received a nomination for Best Original Song at the 94th Academy Awards.
