"The Show" is a classic rap song by Doug E. Fresh & the Get Fresh Crew. The track is performed as a virtual countdown to a live show with beatboxing, humorous storytelling, and "Six minutes, Doug E. Fresh you're on" interruptions. Doug E. Fresh shows why he known as "The Original Human Beat Box", and London-born Slick Rick tells of his adventures on a NYC subway. "I saw a pretty girl so I sat beside her / Then she went roar like she was Tony the Tiger / I said hold on, there's been a mistake / Honey, my name's Slick Rick not Frostie Flakes". "The Show" was one of the first rap singles to have international success and to cross over to pop radio. It was a groundbreaking song that has inspired many of today's artists.
The backing track for "The Show" is available with background vocals or as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.

I have no idea where this version was taken from, but it differs from The original 12" record from 1985.
