"Kiss Me" is a song from Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy's second studio album, Sonder (2022). After topping the UK charts with his 2019 studio debut Without Fear, a compilation of previous material that garnered him a nomination for International Male Solo Artist of the Year at the 2020 BRIT Awards, the singer traveled to New York City to begin working on a follow-up to his first album. The result of those recording sessions, 2022's Sonder, received mixed reviews but still managed to reach the top of the Official UK Albums Chart, also peaking at Number 1 in both Ireland and Scotland. This was largely thanks to singles like "Better Days," "Something to Someone," and "Kiss Me." Written by Dermot Kennedy, Steve Mac, Dan Smith, and Stephen Kozmeniuk, and produced by Steve Mac, KOZ, and Scott Harris, the latter is a throbbing glossy pop gem about living every moment like it was the last one.
