"Give Me a Sign" is a song by American alternative rock group Breaking Benjamin, released on January 5, 2010, as the second single from their fourth studio album Dear Agony (2009). Written by lead singer and guitarist Benjamin Burnley and produced by David Bendeth, the track is a powerful ballad whose lyrics address the feeling of despair that stems from not being to help a loved one going through a personal crisis. After it was released as a radio single, the song's name was officially changed to "Give Me a Sign (Forever and Ever)." It reached Number 97 on the Billboard Hot 100, Number 9 on the US Hot Rock Songs chart, and Number 10on the Alternative Song chart. On January 13, 2010, Breaking Benjamin released an acoustic version that was later included in the Japanese version of the album. An accompanying video directed by Nigel Dick premiered on March 10 and featured several easter eggs referencing characters from the band's past songs.
