"Arrested for Driving While Blind" is a song by ZZ Top from their album Tejas. The song is a Texas roadhouse blues shuffle with lyrics that warn of the dangers of drinking and driving. The lyrics mention several brands of liquor and that driving while having a drink might be pleasurable, but bassist Dusty Hill told Spin magazine, the the song was not meant to encourage people to drive drunk. The album was a bit of a commercial disappointment and the band decided to take a 90-day break. That break turned into two years and when Hill and guitarist Billy Gibbons returned, they had both grown long beards which have become two of the most famous beards in rock. Interestingly, drummer Frank Beard doesn't have a beard.
