Here, U2 deliver one of their most anthemic and best-known tracks, ripped straight from the heart of their seminal 1987 album The Joshua Tree, which took inspiration from America. This live version of the track was performed by U2 with Dennis Bell's gospel choir New Voices of Freedom on 28th September 1987 at New York's Madison Square Garden and included on the band's hybrid live/studio album Rattle and Hum in 1988.
