Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" is arguably more wedded to its iconic, era-defining video than any song of the 1980s. Those dead-eyed stares. That shirt and tie. That explosive guitar riff. However, in 1988, the audacious Tina Turner seized control of the song and made it her own—in a live context. The late pop legend first covered Addicted to Love for her Break Every Rule TV special in 1986, which took place at London's Camden Palace in November 1986 with special guest Robert Cray, introduced by the one-of-a-kind Max Headroom. She continued to take her incendiary version of this 1980s mainstay out on the road after that, bringing it to her record-breaking concert in Rio de Janeiro—in which she played to 180,000 people—as well as dates all over the world. "Addicted to Love" was among the tracks collected on Tina Turner's 1988 live album Tina Live in Europe, which won her the Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.

I wish there was the 2009 concert version :( This one is OK, though
