"You're Still the One," performed by Shania Twain, emerged from her third album, Come On Over, in 1997, as a testament to love's endurance against public skepticism. In 2019, American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims posted a heartfelt cover of the track on his YouTube account as a tribute to his mother, as it was one of her favorite songs. Produced by Dave Cobb, Teddy Swim's rendition became one of the most-viewed videos on his channel, accruing over 31 million streams. "You're Still the One" was originally written by Shania Twain with her then-husband, producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Its lyrics channel the Canadian country diva's defiance against criticism of her relationship through a blend of country pop, marked by its gentle piano, guitar, organ, and mandolin harmonies. Released to US contemporary hit radio on January 13, 1998, by Mercury Records, "You're Still the One" peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot Country Songs chart.
