Inspired by the titular characters in Peter Pan, "Lost Boy" from Canadian singer Ruth Berhe, known professionally as Ruth B, celebrates the power of the imagination, nostalgia and other similarly emotive themes and ideas. "There was a time when I was alone / Nowhere to go and no place to call home / My only friend was the man in the Moon," sings the Alberta-born artist, later adding: ""Run, run Lost Boy," they say to me /Away from all of reality." Berhe initially uploaded an original clip of a song inspired by the US fantasy-adventure television series Once Upon a Time to video-sharing platform Vine before the clip went viral and led to a recording contract with Columbia Records. The tender piano pop ballad that became "Lost Boy" reached Number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was featured on Berhe's debut EP, The Intro.
