"Dandelions" is a song by Canadian singer-songwriter and former Vine star Ruth B., included in her 2017 studio debut, Safe Haven. A lighthearted slow R&B jam, the song was written after watching an interview with Australian pop singer Sia, whose advice on songwriting was to choose a pretty word to write around. It was released officially on April 28, 2017, as the album's second single, and a "slowed + reverb" version appeared in 2021. Even though its parent album peaked at Number 17 in Canada upon its release, "Dandelions" went largely unnoticed until 2022 when it became a sleeper hit after going viral on the video-sharing social network TikTok.
