By the time the 1990s came around, Canadian rock band Rush had shed all the synth-heavy arrangements of the previous decade and resorted to the guitar-driven sound that characterized most of their early output. After the back-to-basics approach of 1989's Presto, Geddy Lee and company maintained the course with Roll the Bones (1991), an honest-to-God hard rock album that marked their return to the top spots of the charts in the United States. Shortly after its release, Roll the Bones reached Number 3 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at Number 10 in the UK. Following the success of lead single "Dreamline," the album's title track was released in 1992 and snuck into the Top 10 of Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. Written by Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart, "Roll the Bones" is one of the funkiest tracks in Rush's catalog and even features a rap section sung by Geddy Lee in a low-pitched voice. The song's title is both a slang term for "throwing dice" and a reference to a science fiction story by Fritz Lieber.

Great interpretation of "Roll the Bones". Faithful to the original. Can't wait to sing it in public.
