"Another Bridge to Burn" is a song originally written by country singer-songwriter Harlan Howard and first recorded by Little Jimmy Dickens in 1963. It was also covered by country music singer Ray Price on his 1966 LP of the same name. Driven forward by copious amounts of pedal steel guitar and Ray Price's deep baritone vocal range, "Another Bridge to Burn" is a traditional country number with enough twang to go around. Its lyrics depict a man who is disillusioned with his current relationship and therefore decides to sever all ties with this person and move on.
