Paramore veered away from their trademark emo rock and pop-punk to cover many different bases on their 2014 single "Ain't It Fun," which stops at gospel, new wave, pop-funk and R&B – with a dash of spiky rock in the chorus for good measure – and was brought to life on the small screen a number of times, including The Voice, Late Night with Seth Meyers and American Idol. A bouncy bop that became one of the band's biggest-ever hits, "Ain't It Fun" reached Number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the fourth and final single from their self-titled fourth studio album, which was released in April 2013 via Fueled by Ramen and primarily by produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen. Three remixes of "Ain't If Fun" – which picked up the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2015 and thus became Paramore's first Grammy win, as well as making lead vocalist and songwriter Hayley Williams the first woman to achieve that honor since Alanis Morissette in 1999 – landed on the same in 2014, from Dutch Uncles, Kye Kye and Smash Mode.
