Colorado - Milky Chance - MP3 instrumental karaoke

German rock band Milky Chance, who have been sharing their unique blend of pop, alternative rock, and electronic since 2012, released their single “Colorado” in 2021. Included in their EP Trip Tape, the song is a catchy indie-pop number about getting together with friends and trying to make it through a hard time through a temporary escape. The song’s repeated hook of “I get high like Colorado” makes reference to both the high altitude American state of Colorado, as well as the use of drugs to cope with the hardships of life. It was written in a sudden burst of creativity over the course of two hours by collaborators Clemens Rehbein and Phillip Dausch, and produced by Milky Chance in collaboration with Decco. “Colorado” was released by Milky Chance’s own record label imprint Muggelig Records GmbH, and peaked at Number 2 on Billboard’s US Adult Alternative Airplay Chart. It also reached Number 18 in Austria, where it received Gold certification.
