"Higher" is the title track of Michael Bublé's ninth studio album. The Canadian singer included both well-known classic covers and original compositions on the album. "Higher" is one of the original songs that got its spark from a little snippet of a song that Noah, his eight-year-old, was singing during a shower. The little one started singing, "When you go low, I go high," shocking his dad, who brought the idea to his next songwriting session with Ryan Tedder and Greg Wells. The three completed the song in about 30 minutes, slightly modifying Noah's lyrics to "I get high." Noah received his first songwriting credit for his contribution to"Higher." The young boy is not only a songwriter but a survivor. Noah was diagnosed with cancer at age three but has been in remission since 2017.
