I see nothing wrong with it. I went back and compared this to his original, and the tempo is exactly where it’s supposed to be for the Merle Haggard version. Yes, the Elvis Presley, Wiley Walker and other versions had faster tempos, but this is Merle Haggard’s style, so it’s going to sound like the way he did it. I prefer the Elvis version myself, but they were both done well. Nice job.

I agree with davebell, great song but could be fixed with his suggestions but I also think the tempo could be just marginally faster. Otherwise great sound thanks.

This is a nice old song by Merle Haggard, however I don't think it should get more than three stars. My biggest issue is that it doesn't have enough back ground vocals. It begins and ends with the chorus, but it only has back ground vocals in the last chorus. Also an instrumental intro' would have been better than just the one chord strum. Overall I would have to say I'm a little disappointed but I'll still use the song, and I'm glad to have it.
