Since the beginning of his career in the early 1990s, country-rap rocker Robert Ritchie, also known as Kid Rock, has built quite a reputation as a provocateur through his raucous stage persona and controversial political views. After taking heat from the media for his outspoken support of President Donald Trump, the Michigan native continued to indulge his right-leaning ways on singles like "Don't Tell Me How to Live" (2021) with Canadian rock band Monster Truck and "We the People" (2022), both included in his twelfth studio album, Bad Reputation.
