"Lead Me Home" is a powerful song by Jamey Johnson from his debut album The Dollar. The Georgia native grew up listening to country music. The first concert he attended was one by Allan Jackson. He started performing locally while serving in the United States Marine Corp Reserve. After moving to Nashville, people started noticing his deep, expressive voice and his talent for songwriting. One of his first cuts was Trace Adkins's "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk." Although he didn't write “Lead Me Home” he sings it with an honesty that makes you believe he's a man facing the end of his life.
