Largely owing to its record-breaking use of the word "fuck" (featured an eye-watering 105 times in the song) "Fuck the World" is one of Insane Clown Posse's best-known tunes, immortalised by member Violent J, and issued as the second single from the duo's fifth studio album The Amazing Jeckel Brothers, which was released in 1999 by Island Records in association with Psychopathic Records. "Fuck the World" was famously one of the songs performed by Insane Clown Posse at the notorious Woodstock '99, which has been the subject of two television documentaries: a 2022 three-parter by Netflix called Trainwreck: Woodstock '99(directed by Jamie Crawford) and HBO's Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage, directed by Garret Price. The nihilistic anthem was later recorded and remixed by the Axe Murder Boys in 2010 and given a lounge new lease of life by Richard Cheese for his 2020 album Numbers of the Beast.
