After making a lasting impression on the British music scene with his debut EP Did You Hear the Rain? (2013), English folk-rocker George Ezra rose to the top of the international charts with his breakthrough single "Budapest," included in his first studio album, 2014's Wanted on Voyage. Thanks to the single's popularity, his studio debut reached Number 1 on the UK charts and entered the Top 10 in several European countries. In 2018, George Ezra decided to take a break from his busy touring schedule and flew to Barcelona, which had already served as inspiration for his 2015 single of the same name.
