Uptown Funk - Bruno Mars & Mark Ronson - MP3 instrumental karaoke

“Uptown Funk” is a song by artist-producer Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars. The 80’s inspired Funk explosion went on to win the Grammy for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and is the fourth biggest song of all-time to ever appear on the Billboard 100 chart. The song started as a jam Mars would play with his band on tour. Ronson had produced songs for the singer’s previous album and the two started working on the jam together with Mars on drums and the producer on bass. When they came up with the opening line "This hit, that ice cold, Michelle Pfeiffer, that white gold” they knew they had something. But finishing the song was not easy. The process took around seven months because Mars was on tour. They emailed song ideas back and forth but fought with each other about each one. Things were so stressful that Ronson passed out trying to perfect a guitar part. The song was almost scrapped altogether but luckily they kept working on it.
