"Fortunate Son,” Creedence Clearwater Revival's rock 'n' roll protest classic, was released during the Vietnam War in 1969 and became one of the biggest anti-war songs of the era. "Some folks are born made to wave the flag / Ooh, they're red, white and blue / And when the band plays "Hail to the Chief" / Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord", begins author and singer John Fogerty on a song lambasting patriotism, Nixon and the relationship between the former's daughter, Julie, and Dwight Eisenhower's grandson, David. Released on the band's fourth studio album, Willy and the Poor Boys, in November 1969, "Fortunate Son" had previously been released as a single with "Down on the Corner" a few months prior and climbed to Number 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100. In 2013, "Fortunate Son" was added to the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

Reasonable backing track for guitar parts, unfortunately approach to the vocals is annoying
