"Come on, babe / Why don't we paint the town? / And all that jazz," asks Velma Kelly in "All That Jazz," a song as synonymous with the blockbuster musical and film Chicago as the roaring '20s, vaudeville, crime, and flapper girls. The opening tune for what is one of the world's longest-running musical revivals and the longest-running American musical in Broadway history was composed by John Kander with lyrics by Fred Ebb and capitalises on a phrase first popularised by Fred Astaire ("all that jazz") to introduce the seedy story of Roxie Hart who fatally shoots her lover dead when he tries to leave her. The song is being performed by Velma Kelly perform at the Onyx, a Chicago theatre. Starring Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Richard Gere, the hit 2002 movie version of Chicago was adapted by screenwriter Bill Condon and directed by Rob Marshall, who also choreographed the film, and went on to win six Academy Awards in 2003, including Best Picture.

If you would like to modify the pitch further, one option would be to download a free audio software that would allow you to do such (we recommend Audacity).
