“It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” is one of several chart-topping hits that Canadian singer Céline Dion had during the 1990s. The song was written by world-renowned songwriter Jim Steinman, who drew inspiration from the novel Wuthering Heights and sought to write the most passionate romantic song he could. Jim Steinman’s frequent collaborator Meat Loaf famously fought to include the song at the time, but Jim Steinman objected. It went on to be recorded by pop group Pandora’s Box in 1989 before making its way to Céline Dion. The Canadian singer recorded “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” as the opening track to her 1996 album Falling Into You, and was later released as the third promotional single off the album. Céline Dion’s version was produced by Jim Steinman along with Steven Rinkoff and Roy Bittan and went on to become a hugely successful single, hitting Number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
