Atlanta natives Blackberry Smoke emerged onto the scene in the early aughts boasting a whisky-soaked mix of Southern rock, country music, and blues. After releasing two well-received albums for the R&J subsidiary BamaJam Records—Bad Luck Ain't No Crime (2003) and Little Piece of Dixie (2009)—Blackberry Smoke scored their first charting effort with their third studio album, 2012's The Whippoorwill, released through Southern Ground in the United States and Earache Records in Europe.
