"Well, I'm leaving tomorrow at daybreak / Catch the fastest train around nine," declares Ozzy Osbourne on this scorched-earth Black Sabbath classic. "Yes, I'm leaving the sorrow and heartaches / Before it takes me away from my mind," he continues. "Tomorrow's Dream" is a song about turning over a new leaf and starting again, shaking yourself free a toxic relationship and moving forward. Ozzy Osbourne belts out the song with such conviction that he captivates his listeners right from the start. "Tomorrow's Dream" was released as a single from the band's fourth studio album, Vol. 4, which they miraculously managed to record - with guitarist Tony Iommi at the production controls for the first time - and released in September 1972 in spite of their worsening drug use. The LP went to number 13 on Billboard's pop album chart and number 8 on the UK Albums Chart and yielded heavy favourites like the Frank Zappa-approved "Supernaut."
