Released in October 1978, "My Life" by Billy Joel became one of his most iconic tracks, featured on his album 52nd Street. Written by Billy Joel and produced by Phil Ramone, the song reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Adult Contemporary chart. Its upbeat melody, combined with lyrics about personal independence, resonated with listeners during the late 1970s. The track reflects a sentiment of defiance, with the narrator insisting on living life on his own terms, unconcerned by others' opinions. Musically, the song blends elements of pop and rock, with its catchy piano riff and driving rhythm becoming signature components of Billy Joel’s sound. Interestingly, the song also found a second life in pop culture, appearing as the theme for the 1980s sitcom Bosom Buddies. "My Life" earned a Grammy nomination, and its commercial success helped solidify Billy Joel’s status as one of the leading artists of the time.

I was looking for this song with the original intro and not the radio cut (which is this one) because Billy Joel sings 3 'Oohs' in the beginning, nonetheless I am very happy with this because I love Billy Joel and I can relate to this song.
