Jackson wrote the beautiful song for his daughter Mattie's wedding in 2017. The lyrics are filled with childhood memories of his daughter combined with the knowledge that although she’s grown into a woman, she’ll always be his baby. "First steps, first words / Seems like yesterday you were just a girl / Skinned knees, climbing trees / All those memories so close to me." Jackson joked that he expected all three of his daughters to use the song at their weddings but he was inspired to write another wedding song, "I Do," for his daughter Ali's wedding in 2020.
