Lead single “You Shook Me All Night Long,” a song about desire and conquest that combined the group’s trademark dirty-blues guitar style with a triumphant and catchy chorus, was one of the key factors in making Back in Black not only the band’s highest-selling album but also one of the most successful albums in music history. “You Shook Me All Night Long” was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Brian Johnson. It was produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange. The single reached Number 35 on the USA's Hot 100 Pop Singles Chart in 1980, and was re-released internationally in 1986 following the album Who Made Who.
