Benjamin Isaac Hoffman aka Wheeler Walker, Jr. has been on a mission to set tongues wagging with his music since the release of his debut no-fucks-given album, Redneck Shit, in 2016. Another two records of filth followed, the obscenity-filled Ol' Wheeler, which miraculously still managed to reach number 10 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, and WW III, which topped the US comedy chart. Whether or not you find the funny side to his songwriting, his satirical explorations have earned him a solid fanbase over the years, mixing meat-and-potatoes country sounds and an outlaw mindset with tongue-in-cheek satire. "Sluts in Heaven" is a profane attempt at the latter, a song that's sandwiched in between the similarly profane "God Told Me to Fuck You" and "Honky Tonk Whore" on his 2022 album Sex, Drugs & Country Music. The LP shot to the top of the iTunes chart and gave Wheeler Walker, Jr. a number two on the comedy albums chart.
