Benjamin Isaac Hoffman's satirical country alter ego Wheeler Walker, Jr. has been setting tongues wagging and making enemies since the release of his debut album Redneck Shit in 2016. The penultimate track on the record that introduced his profanity-obsessed persona to the world, "Sit On My Face" says all you need to know about Wheeler Walker, Jr.'s style in the filthy title alone, and is certainly not for the faint-hearted. Recorded with Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb and released via Nashville-based entertainment company Thirty Tigers, Redneck Shit landed at number nine on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and shot to the top of the Comedy Albums chart. Wheeler Walker, Jr.—previously the host of Comedy Central’s The Ben Show—followed up his debut with a second album Ol' Wheeler in 2017, on which he continued to mine much of the same expletive-laden country fare, all in the good old name of satire.
