For their inspired take on the R&B tune, the band amp up the blues and turn up the rock dial to heavy, tearing through the song's liberating post-breakup message with an onslaught of electric guitar sorcery. Multiple artists went on to cover "You're No Good", including Pat Carroll, Julie London, Linda Ronstadt – whose yearning, soulful folk-rock version from 1975 proved particularly popular and went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 – Elvis Costello, Dusty Springfield, Ike & Tina Turner, Reba McEntire, Lee Aaron, and Weyes Blood.
