You might expect any track from an album called "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" to be about one thing and one thing only. Indeed, Van Halen's "Runaround" doesn't hold back in its pursuit of carnal pleasure: "Well, she can take me for a little ride / But just as long as she drive me home / Around the block maybe once or twice / And then some lovin' wouldn't that be nice? Yeah," roars Sammy Hagar in the song's lascivious opening verse. For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (often abbreviated as the F.U.C.K.) was the band's ninth studio album (the third to feature vocalist Sammy Hagar following Eddie Van Halen's departure as lead vocalist in 1985) and shot to the top of the Billboard 200 album chart where it stuck around for three weeks. The album still featured guitar, keyboards and backing vocals from Eddie Van Halen, with the Van Halen co-founder also contributing electric drill on "Poundcake," the album's first single.
