Grammy-winning country artist Travis Tritt wowed with his cover of Elvis Presley's rock 'n' roll fireball, "Burning Love," which shot to the top of the charts for Elvis Presley in 1972 and would become his last major hit. For his cover version, Travis Tritt stayed fairly faithful to the original but added a faster-faced country swagger that pulled his raspy voice along like a big dipper. "Ooh, ooh, ooh / I feel my temperature rising / Help me, I'm flaming / I must be a hundred and nine / Burning, burning, burning / Nothing can cool me / I just might turn into smoke / But I feel fine," he exclaims on a song featured on the original soundtrack to 1992 US romcom Honeymoon in Vegas. Travis Tritt received two Grammy Awards, both for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals: in 1992 for "The Whiskey Ain't Workin,'" a duet with Marty Stuart and again in 1998 for "Same Old Train," for which he collaborated with nine other artists.
