In 1992, Cold Chisel frontman and Australian national treasure Jimmy Barnes added his fiery bellow to what had become a signature belter for Tina Turner, "(Simply) The Best," and their duet was released as a single in Australia and New Zealand only. With guitarist and Jimmy Barnes's brother-in-law Johnny Diesel drafted in for a guitar solo to replace Edgar Winter's iconic saxophone solo, "(Simply) The Best" was used in an advertising campaign for the New South Wales rugby team and unwittingly took on new life as a long-running sports anthem for the National Rugby League (NRL) in Australia and New Zealand.
