"Here I Go" is a satirical musical collaboration between comedy trio The Lonely Island aka Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer and UK pop dynamo Charli XCX, released in November 2024 as an SNL Digital Short during the 50th season of Saturday Night Live. The track humorously critiques suburban vigilantism by portraying a couple's obsession with reporting minor neighborhood infractions to the police. Andy Samberg and Charli XCX star as the self-appointed enforcers, reveling in their exaggerated sense of moral superiority. "Here I Go" features absurd scenarios, such as calling the cops on a Girl Scout selling cookies and a dog relieving itself on their lawn, highlighting the trivial nature of their complaints. The production received positive reviews for its sharp social commentary and the performers' comedic chemistry. "Here I Go" came out in the same year as Charli XCX's culture-dominating sixth studio album Brat.
